Join us for this virtual meeting and hear from Tzedek members who are working with Palestinian families in Gaza to plan for evacuation. We will discuss how the evacuation process worked before the border closed, how families are planning for it now, why international support is crucial, and what it means to “adopt” a fundraiser, a commitment that Palestinians have called on their allies to make. How can we bring the lenses of abolition and repair to this form of direct action? We will invite participants to pledge to support a fundraiser of their choosing in a material way during or after the workshop, such as by making a donation or sharing a fundraiser in their circles.
