Yom Kippur Family Program

Online via Zoom

Kids are invited to join Family Program Coordinator Aviva Stein for a virtual Yom Kippur afternoon gathering at 4 pm on Zoom. We will learn about the holiday and create something special using materials in our homes--no prep required. Kids ages 0-4 are welcome with their grown ups, ages 5-18 are welcome to join on their own. We intend for this to be an opportunity for kids to be engaged and for adults to take a break during this intensely reflective day.

During in-person services, children are welcome to hang out in our kid-friendly break-out space where we’ll have art supplies, books, and room to hang out. Tzedek Chicago is not offering supervision or babysitting--all adults will be responsible for appropriate supervision of their own children. This may include caregivers and community members volunteering their time during services. We will not be able to bring kids to the bathroom or change diapers. Registration is not required for our break-out space.
